Verite automatically adapts to any sound
environment, providing effortless awareness of the
surrounding auditory scene.
Central to Verite is
an advanced multi-environment program to handle most
listening situations. Verite makes fine adjustments
of the automatic features and amplification whenever
needed to provide smooth transitions between
listening environments. The optimization focus
smoothly fades between speech, noise, quiet and all
combinations in between.
Where is the focus?
Verite can focus on either speech or environmental sounds. Whenever speech is detected, the hearing system automatically changes the settings in both instruments to ensure that speech has the highest amplification priority. In the absence of speech, Verite maintains the audibility of environmental sounds.
Dynamic Contrast Mode
In the multi-environment program, Verite completely changes the amplification scheme when it detects speech in situations with significant background noise. This triggers the hearing instruments to fade from the Primary Automatic Mode into the Dynamic Contrast Mode.
Dedicated listening programs
In addition to the multi-environment program, Verite
offers dedicated programs for specific listening
situations. These include special programs for
television, live music, car travel and more. Program
assignment can be generated by the Lifestyle Profile
or manually. |
